Sound, According to Aquila

  • A brilliant, clean and prompt sound, with good vibrato and a clear change in tone as the right hand moves from near the bridge to over the sound hole.
  • Aquila places them between nylon and fluorocarbon: the sweetness of nylon at one end, the brightness of fluorocarbon at the other.
  • Aquila reports that its own measurements show more sustain than any other string on the market, and more sound power than fluorocarbon.
  • The surface is very smooth but still grips the fingers well.

This Set

  • Concert: Low G (GCEA, one wound string)
