Hightech Tenor Saxophone Case (Carbon or Tweed, With or Without Pocket)

The Bam Hightech Tenor is a contoured hard case for a tenor saxophone: BAM's triple-ply Hightech shell around a velvet-covered foam cradle, with an optional front pocket for music and accessories.

Features and Use

• Internal cradle of high-density, high-resilience injected polyurethane foam covered in black non-invasive velvet, protecting the instrument against shock and unwanted thermals.
• Includes a removable accessory pouch and a neck pouch made with Bam Thai silk.
• Integrated back cushion with a pocket for sheet music and accessories; the With Pocket version adds a front pocket (47 x 26.6 x 3.8 cm).
• Male/female airtight "H" seal and two BAM Series 2 soft-touch latches with keys.
• Ergonomic bi-material side handle, subway handle, and two neoprene anti-slip backpack straps with security screw hooks.

• Contoured Bam Hightech shell: a triple-ply coated and insulated ABS structure.
• Weight: 3.7 kg (8 lb 3 oz) without pocket; 4.2 kg (9 lb 4 oz) with pocket.
• Exterior: 83 x 30 x 21 cm.
• Interior: body length 77 cm; bell 16 cm.

Warranty

• BAM covers defects in materials and workmanship for two years from purchase, and beyond that offers repairs at a nominal cost for the life of the case.
• Accidental damage, mishandling and normal wear on parts such as hooks and fasteners are not covered.
• BAM asks Canadian buyers to contact their dealer first — that's us.

Checking the Fit

• Molded on and fitted best for a Selmer Mark VI saxophone. Does not fit most pre-1954 vintage horns or horns with left-side keys.
• BAM does not recommend this case for long-term instrument storage because of its highly airtight seal.
