Our J. Thibouville-Lamy ‘Master Archetier’ bows pay tribute to the Mirecourt bow-makers of yesteryears, with each bow blank meticulously selected from our premium 20-year seasoned Pernambuco stash.

These bow blanks are resonance-tested using a Lucchi Meter, ensuring only those with a 5300+ rating are chosen. This meticulous grading is our commitment to delivering the finest bows to our patrons.

Every bow frog is carved from exquisite Burmese Ebony, adorned with ‘925’ sterling silver fittings. The softest leather grip is intertwined with ‘925’ Silver wire, while the bow hair stands out - unbleached Mongolian horsetail, revered for its durability and thickness.
