Non-Mechanical Peg Release
- Uses controlled humidity (silica gel) to gently soften wood and release the peg
- No mechanical tools or force applied — will not crack the pegbox
- Reusable: silica gel packet regenerates in microwave when orange indicator turns green
How It Works
- Place silica gel packet on the pegbox, cover with a clear plastic bag, seal around the neck
- Wait a few hours for the wood to absorb enough moisture to release the peg
