Where the traditional Richter tuning is built around major chords in first position, the Wilde Rock tuning is designed for playing the minor pentatonic and blues scales in 2nd position across all three octaves, while keeping the bluesy 2nd-position feel. Every draw note can be bent, and the root note is a draw note in all three octaves.
