Wilde Rock Tuning Concept

• Special Tuning: Invented by endorser Will Wilde specifically for playing hard rock and blues-rock.
• Playability: Suited for "tougher" musical styles and playing "rock guitar" style licks.
• Bluesy Feel: Retains the feel of classic second position harmonica while addressing upper octave limitations of Richter tuning.
• Bending Capabilities: All draw notes bend from holes one to ten.
• Root Notes: The root note lands on a draw in all three octaves.
• Scale Access: Facilitates second position minor pentatonic and blues scale licks throughout all three octaves.

Tuning Configuration Details

• Holes 1-5: Exact same configuration as standard tuning.
• Holes 6-8: Same as holes two, three, and four (one octave higher).
• Hole 9: Same as hole two (two octaves higher).
• Hole 10: Reeds switched so the ten blow bend is now a draw bend.
• Upper Octave Benefits: Flat third and flat five available as simple draw bends; no need to overblow or overdraw.
