It gives a very powerful and clear attack, with the string vibrating at its maximum from the very beginning of the bow movement, and improves sound endurance, projection and power, with a warm undertone. Leatherwood developed the recipe with Japanese partners, including the soloists Mayu Kishima and Minami Yoshida.
