Construction and Materials

• Handmade Quality: Sheep gut core is manufactured, wound, and polished in the traditional way by hand.
• Finely Wound: Finely wound and polished surface texture.
• Gauge Profile: Available in medium gauge only; slightly thicker than standard Passione strings. Silvery Steel E-string gauge is medium (0.26mm).
• Size: Available in 4/4 size.

Special Features: G-String Winding

• Construction: The length of colored silk at the peg end of the G-string is intentionally different from the A and D strings.
• Purpose: The special length prevents the string from breaking in the peg box.
• Fitment: After two to three days, the stretching process finalizes, and the silk winding no longer reaches over the nut. Fits various violin sizes.
